Advent calendar official rules

These official rules apply to the Suppligator advent calendar (website and app). The prize behind each door, the number of winners and whether a partner provides the prize are shown with the respective door. Those details take precedence over these rules where they differ.

1. Organiser and disclaimer

  • Organiser: Andreas Rozmus e.K., Suppligator, c/o Postflex #8834, Emsdettener Str. 10, 48268 Greven, Germany (“Suppligator”), email info@suppligator.de.
  • Prize sponsor: Suppligator or the partner named with the door.
  • The advent calendar is not associated with WhatsApp, Meta or Instagram. Apple and Google are not sponsors of and are not involved in this giveaway in any way.

2. Eligibility

  • Who: individuals aged 18 or over who live in Germany or Austria and have an approved Suppligator account.
  • Excluded: Suppligator, participating partners and everyone involved in organising the giveaway; team and test accounts are excluded technically.
  • Free: Taking part is free. No purchase is necessary, and a purchase does not increase your chances of winning – not even via bonus entries, because points from purchases or order proofs cannot be used for them (section 3).

3. How to enter

  1. From 1 to 24 December, a new door opens every day at 00:00 (German time).
  2. If you open the door of the day while logged in on the website or in the app, you are entered into the draw for that door.
  3. One entry per person per door: each door counts once per person – whether you open it on the website or in the app – and gives you one entry. Optionally, you can exchange club points for up to three bonus entries (see below). Multiple accounts of the same person are not allowed.
  4. The entry deadline for a door is 23:59 (German time) on its day. You can still view missed doors later, but you are then no longer entered into their draw.

Bonus entries for club points (optional)

  • If you have opened a door and are entered into its draw, you can exchange club points for bonus entries into the draw for that door until that draw on the following day at 10:00 (German time); this is no longer possible after the draw: 50 points = 1 bonus entry, up to 3 bonus entries per person per door – a maximum of 4 entries in total.
  • You can only use club points earned by using the website and app (e.g. daily bonus, reviews, streaks, tasks, advent calendar). Points from purchases or order proofs (e.g. the order screenshot bonus) are excluded. We show you how many points you can use at the door.
  • We deduct the points used from your redeemable points balance immediately and record them in your points history. Your collected points for the leaderboard, level and badges remain unchanged. Points cannot be exchanged back or refunded, even if you do not win. Points and bonus entries have no monetary value and cannot be transferred.
  • Bonus entries are optional. Without them, you take part in the draw with one entry as usual. No purchase is ever necessary.

4. Draw

On the morning after each door (from 10:00 German time), we automatically draw at random exactly the number of winners stated for each prize of the door, plus reserve winners. Every entry has the same chance. Your chance of winning therefore increases in proportion to the number of your entries: with 4 entries it is four times as high at each pick as with one entry. Entries are drawn one by one; each person can win at most once per door – if a further entry of a person who has already been drawn is picked, it does not count. You may win on several days. If there are fewer entries than prizes, the remaining prizes of that door lapse.

5. Notification and prize delivery

  • We notify winners by app notification (if allowed), in the bell (website and app) and by email to the address of their account. We do not publish winners’ names.
  • To receive the prize, enter your delivery address in Germany or Austria in the prize form (app or website) within 14 days and confirm that you are at least 18 years old (we may ask for proof). If you do not do so in time, the prize is forfeited and passes to a reserve winner.
  • Shipping: The prize is shipped by Suppligator or by the partner named with the door. If the partner ships it, we pass on your name and delivery address only with your consent and only for shipping. You do not pay shipping costs.
  • Prizes cannot be paid out in cash, exchanged or transferred. If a prize is unavailable, we may provide a replacement of equal value.

6. Badges and points

Opening doors earns club points and limited badges. They have no monetary value and cannot be transferred. Badges do not affect your chances of winning; club points only do if you choose to exchange them for bonus entries (section 3).

7. Disqualification

We may disqualify participants and withdraw prizes, even afterwards, if they breach these rules or the Terms of Use, use fake or multiple accounts, provide false information or tamper with the giveaway.

8. Data protection

  • What we store: which doors your account opened and when, whether this counts for the draw and how many entries (including bonus entries) you have per door; when you exchange points, the record of the points used in your points history; if you win, your account, name, email address and the details from the prize form (name, delivery address, email address, optional phone number, confirmation that you are of age). We send these details by email to our team (info@suppligator.de) and send you a confirmation.
  • What partners receive: only the number of entries; winners’ names and delivery addresses only as described in section 5.
  • Retention: We delete opened doors, entries and your number of entries on 31 January of the following year; badges, points and points transactions remain in your account. We delete the details from the prize form 90 days after submission. We keep the list of winners for 1 year after the draw; where winner data forms part of accounting records, for 8 years (§ 147 German Fiscal Code).
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (running the giveaway); your consent for passing data to a partner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for statutory retention.

9. Miscellaneous

We may change, suspend or end the advent calendar for good cause, e.g. technical problems, legal reasons or suspected manipulation. Entries already made will still be drawn unless this is not possible for legal reasons. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
