SUPPLIGATOR for €22.49 instead of €29.99
– A base of rather mild chocolatey, slightly bitter, cocoa-like flavours
– There’s a gentle, milky-creamy undertone, which feels slightly doughy or floury towards the end
– Dark biscuit pieces add a delicately bitter, rather subtle flavour; the small milk chocolate crisps (when eaten quickly) provide a crunchy highlight and very subtle, light chocolatey, slightly sweet notes
– Overall, a solid, well-balanced and not overly intense combination of chocolate and cocoa flavours
– Compared to the IC Dark Chocolate Lover, it is less dark, aromatic and intense, but has a more milky, doughy undertone and is completely free of coffee notes, though it contains additional crispies and biscuit crumbs
– Recommended for lovers of mild chocolate drinks – hot or cold – with that extra bit of caffeine (completely without any coffee flavour) and a feeling of fullness thanks to glucomannan
Suppligator rating: 8.5/10
