– A melt-in-the-mouth, rather thin layer of milk chocolate studded with dark, crunchy biscuit pieces as an outer coating
– Beneath this lies a very soft, fudgy, slightly chewy but not tough centre, which tastes of dark chocolate – with a distinct cocoa flavour – and contains a creamy, intense core
– The latter is the absolute aromatic highlight and, with its sweet, only slightly bitter cocoa-chocolate cream, is reminiscent of liquid brownie batter or the centre of a lava cake
– Overall, a very successful combination, which, flavour-wise, is reminiscent of a mixture of ‘Milka Feine Kugeln Dark Milk’ and ‘Oreo biscuits’ (without the cream) in a 2:1 ratio – or a fusion of the ESN Fudge Brownie and Dark Cookie bars
– Compared to the ESN Designer Bar Dark Cookie, the texture is slightly softer and less chewy; less tart and biscuit-like, with a slightly sweeter, more intense cocoa flavour; the chocolate coating is thinner
– An absolute standout bar, consisting of two bites with no ‘protein’ association whatsoever, offering extra satiety and fibre thanks to glucomannan

– Pleasantly refreshing – a rather sweet mint aroma and a gently tart pomegranate flavour in the background as the dominant components

– The finish leaves a slightly artificial impression, reminiscent of a cocktail sugar rim
