What makes this collaboration so special?

Hitschler has made a name for itself with the hitschies ‘dragon tongues’. These sour ‘dragon tongues’ have been popular for years and boast a huge fanbase. The same is true of Zerup, creating a unique collaboration that offers two key benefits for fans of both brands:

What flavour varieties are available?

No. 1: More x hitschies “Blue Raspberry”

– Sweet and slightly tart notes interplay on the tongue
.– The fruity raspberry note – combined with an aroma reminiscent of blackberry or blueberry – is consistent but comes across as rather mild and artificial; in the aftertaste, it lingers on the tongue with a moderately tart touch
.– One of the most artificial, yet well-executed flavours in terms of ‘dragon’s tongue’ sensations, just slightly less tart
.– Reminiscent of Zerup Blue Raspberry, but more tart.

2nd place: More x hitschies “Cherry”

– A mildly tart cherry forms the flavour base
.– The aftertaste carries a note reminiscent of Amarena cherries and a slightly artificial touch
.– Slightly more tart than the Zerup Cherry; also more tart than the Zerup Cherry White Tea, with similar Amarena flavours but without the additional tea notes
.– Overall, the least tart of the Hitschies varieties, and the furthest removed from Dragon’s Tongues
.– More reminiscent of a mixture of ‘Haribo cherries’ and sour cherry juice.

3rd place: More x hitschies “Strawberry”

– A sweet-tart interplay of fruity, ‘over-ripe’ strawberry flavours
.– A moderately tart note and a delicate coating in the throat linger afterwards.
– Overall, one of the more intense, tart Hitschies varieties, with a relatively strong artificial aftertaste
.– Reminds me a little of Drachenzungen, but more like ‘Trolli Sour Strawberries’.

4th place: More x Hitschies “Apple”

– A very tart, slightly fruity apple flavour comes to the fore
.– The aftertaste also leaves a tart note and, unfortunately, a slightly unpleasant coating on the tongue (as if you’d been rubbing sour gummy bears over your tongue for too long).
– Significantly more sour and less fruity than Zerup Green Apple
.– The flavour is reminiscent of a combination of Drachenzungen and ‘Trolli Sour Apple Rings’.
– Overall, the sourest Hitschies variety, closest to the Drachenzungen flavour.

5th place: More x hitschies ‘Peach’

– A tart peach forms the flavour base
.– At times, you also detect slightly sweet flavours reminiscent of gummy bears without sour sugar.
– Overall, the fruit flavour is very mild, with no other undertones; the acidity level is in the middle of the Hitschies range
.– Reminiscent of a mixture of ‘Drachenzungen’ and ‘Trolli Peach Rings’.

When will the More x hitschies Zerups go on sale?

Sales begin on Sunday 29 September at 11.00 am on morenutrition.de. The Zerups will also be available from 30 September in all participating Rewe, Edeka, Rossmann, Budni, Müller, Tegut, Bünting, Wasgau and HIT stores across Germany. However, they will be sold there at the full price of €6.99!

How much will the Zerups cost?

The More x hitschies Zerups will go on sale at a price of €6.99. However, as part of the new More promotion to mark the relaunch, you can secure a discount of up to 22 per cent! Please note that this discount won’t be available in-store, so it’s worth making sure you’re there on time on Sunday 29 September.

How do you prepare Zerup?

More Nutrition recommends a splash of Zerup per 124ml of water. This means one bottle of Zerup will make between 8 and 12 litres.
