– A flavour combination of a rather tart, slightly chemical and fizzy apple note and a bittersweet aroma, which masks the apple flavour and somewhat unpleasantly emphasises the sweet-sour undertone
– The aftertaste leaves a rather cloying, slightly bitter-soapy sensation on the tongue, combined with a gentle tart apple note
– Compared to the classic Isoclear of the same name, it is less fruity and soft-drink-like, more bitter-sour with a relatively strong, unpleasant undertone
– The flavour is reminiscent of the old ESN EAAs Green Apple
– Can be recommended to a limited extent as a vegan alternative, possibly with more liquid and a little extra Zerup Green Apple syrup
– 6.25/10 overall – 8/10 compared to other vegan clear proteins Vegan Isoclear “Raspberry” (420 g)

– Immediate initial taste of bitter–sour, unfortunately barely fruity raspberry
– Continuously accompanied by an almost equally strong, chemical–like aftertaste and an underlying, faint, artificial bittersweetness
– Both these notes remain intrusive and leave an unpleasant aftertaste on the tongue
– Compared to the classic Isoclear of the same name from back then, it’s not very fruity or soft-drink-like; very sour, with a rather ‘thick’ mouthfeel
– Overall, a rather unbalanced taste experience – recommended primarily as a vegan alternative; can be improved here too by adding extra syrup of a suitable flavour
– 4.5/10 overall – 7/10 compared to other vegan Clear proteins

Designer Whey ‘Peach Yoghurt’ (908 g)

– A sweet, mild peach flavour remains the consistent focus.
– There’s a refreshing, mouth-filling undertone that brings a creamy yoghurt flavour to round the taste off.
– The flavour is very reminiscent of Fruchtzwerge peach.
– Compared to the previous Designer Whey (lactase-free), there is no noticeable difference in flavour.
– Compared to the previous Flavour Powder of the same name, it is slightly less fruity and less sweet, with no pieces.
– Overall, one of the sweeter Designer Whey varieties with a summery vibe; also recommended for ice cream.
